 当初はマメジカの絵を描く予定でしたが、制作途中に豊川市の砥鹿神社と出会い、急遽、鹿の絵に変更しました。

砥鹿神社に参拝後、鹿を描かなければいけない使命を感じました。

砥鹿神社は千三百年以上前から鎮まる神を祀る奥宮がある神社です。

「Toga⁡」

The canvas is attached to a string on the back so that it can be hung on the wall for display.

 *The background is blue with a greenish tint (see first image).
The deer, sky and trees are clearly colored (see second image).

After visiting the Toga shrine, I painted the deer.

I had no intention of painting the deer until I visited the shrine.
